Sendmail Time Stamp

I am using sendmail on a redhat7 box, however every mail sent through the server has the wrong time stamp on it. I have checked the system time and hardware time and they are all ok, is there a different time setting for sendmail or a way to sink it with the system time.

It never used to be a problem but now I have the server to send me message if there is a porblem to my mobil it is important to know when the sever has malfunctioned.

Any help or insight into the problem would be appreciated
