Don't know how I did it. Yesterday I installed Red Hat 9 on a new, bigger hard drive. At first there was no problem, but now I can't use Terminal unless I open in from the Root desktop.
It worked before, so I don't know what I did to screw it up. When I open Terminal (Bash) from a regular user account, the window opens, but I can't write to it. It's like my keyboard has been disconnected.
The only thing I could think of was to authorize all of the permissions tor "bash". When I tell you this, it may convey just how over my head I am with this problem, but at least I've progressed to the point where not being able to use the command line is a major PAIN!
Any suggestions?
