I'm a *complete* newby - less than 24 hours on Corel Linux. I installed Star Office when logged in as SU - then was advised not to work all the time as SU. I created a new user for myself - how do I get to use Star Office when logged in as that user? I've spent a coupla hours trying various things - in despair I'm wondering if I need to install it as the user - if so, how do I uninstall it as SU?

TIA

Star Office is a little tricky to get it to run as a user after it was installed by root. I recommend uninstalling it and then reinstalling it as a user. I believe there is an uninstall script in the same directory as the soffice executable. Do a whereis soffice and that should let you know it's whereabouts. Hope this helps.
