apt-get adding servers

ok i have apt-get to upgrade my programs and such.... i just have the default dl servers though and was wondering where i could add more servers...thanks

so you have apt4rpm installed? where did you get your apt package from? you will want to open your etc/apt/sources.list in a text editor, you will need to be sure you open your editor as a root user e.g su. to a root# prompt then launch your favorite editor, say I wanted to use nano, I would type nano -w /etc/apt/sources.list,

or you can try launching a text editor from a root console by typing it's name & pressing enter and then when the editor comes up navagaite to your sources list file.

When the file is open add new sources to the bottom of this list Check my sig for good apt info:)
