Somehow mususe9.1 installation has changed the language it uses in console modefor one of my user accounts (not root though), whci is a bit annoying. Does anyone know how to chnage this back to english? For this account, KDE is still in english.

ssh is not the command line, for thats what I think you mean.

I think you use GDM, and if so just change the language for logging into that account to english, and set it to default.

If not, try changing the language options in control centre in KDE
