HDIU Konqueror to view other files on Desktops

I am using Man 8.1 and want to transfer files with Konqueror between desktops.. When I type in an IP address it tells me malformed IP address. When I type in a name it tells me unable to connect.. I can ping and traceroute to each PC so I know the net is good & works fine with Micro ___...

The only way for Konquerer to connect to a different computer is through an HTTP server or an FTP server.

If you want to transfer files between desktops, I recommend on setting up an FTP server on computer 1 (ProFTPd is a good choice), and then just using a program like gFTP on the other computer to download whatever files you want.
