Well I finally got my network card working on my laptop at work. My question is what would be the best way to change the settings in the /etc/pcmcia/network.opt file between my office setting and my home network settings? I considered just adding my home network info and keeping it commented out until I needed it and then comment out the office info and uncomment the home when I am at home. Or should i create 2 seperate files? and call one network.opt.home and network.opt.work?
I'd say that a simple perl/shell script would do the trick.
Keep a network.home and network.work in with the script; and have the script shutdown the interface, replace network.opt with whichever you want, and then restart the interface.

I have downloaded a program that sounds like the equivalent of Netswitcher in the windows environment. I haven't tried it yet. I can't remember it's name right now. I'll post it when I find it.
Good Luck,
