I attempted to install the atheros wireless drivers on Fedora Core to only to have it tell me that I needed the "atrpms-kmdl-helper" module. Does anyone know where I can locate this file?
Thanks

Thanks fatTrav 07-20-2004, 01:42 AM generally, http://www.google.com/linux is a great place to search before asking. however a search there doesn't turn up anything really helpful as most things related to "kmdl" deal with nvidia or video in general. have you seen this page: http://www.mattfoster.clara.co.uk/madwifi-faq.htm are you trying to use an RPM version of this driver or compiling from source? after a bit more searching, i discovered one of the apt-get/yum repos has the RPM version of hte driver...did you try apt-get or yum to try and install (and resolve all dependencies)?
