Madwifi & Fedora Core 2

I attempted to install the atheros wireless drivers on Fedora Core to only to have it tell me that I needed the "atrpms-kmdl-helper" module. Does anyone know where I can locate this file?

generally, http://www.google.com/linux
is a great place to search before asking. however a search there doesn't turn up anything really helpful as most things related to "kmdl" deal with nvidia or video in general.

are you trying to use an RPM version of this driver or compiling from source?

after a bit more searching, i discovered one of the apt-get/yum repos has the RPM version of hte driver...did you try apt-get or yum to try and install (and resolve all dependencies)?

Working with a friend we were able to get the CVS compiled and installed...I now have it running fine.
