I need some help.....
I have a Dell A960 All in one printer and I was wondering if anyone could point me in a direction to make it work with Linux.
I have it connected through USB and I am using Fedora Core 1.
Thanks Paul

I couldn't find any support listed for it anywhere. If you have a windows machine, maybe you could print on it via the wndows machine and Samba.

"Dell" printers are in reality simply Lexmark printers that Dell has slapped thier own sticker on. If you can figure out what model of Lexmark it really is, you could try installing the driver for that printer.

Your not going to be able to find a driver for that particular Lexmark.......I believe the model number started with an "X" for the Dell shipped one. You can try looking though.:(

From what I can tell, the printer you have is a Lexmark X6170 with a Dell sticker on it. Dell has their own part and model number when you they sell it to you, but thatwhat the printer really is. Look for a linux driver for that.
You can also look for ink for that printer, so you don't have to go though Dell and pay tough the nose for the same thing.
