xcdroast only reads one drive

I am running Drake 7.2, and xcdroast only sees the cd burner. I know that Mandrake emulates ide-scsi by default, the problem I have is how do I also emulate the DVD drive, and do I need to let the kernel know that it is a DVD ROM and not just an ordinary CDROM?

You will need to setup both drives to use SCSI emulation.
