I have searched and everyone else is not having a problem mounting one of these. I have followed all of their steps and nothing works.
I am running Suse 9.1 Persoal(Downloaded) and when I go to the my computer icon a hard drive shows up but I can not view any of the files on the flash drive.
I had a line to fstab and here it is
/dev/hda1 /windows/C ntfs ro,users,gid=users,umask=0002,nls=utf8 0 0
/dev/hda5 /windows/D ntfs ro,users,gid=users,umask=0002,nls=utf8 0 0
/dev/hda4 swap swap pri=42 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts mode=0620,gid=5 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs noauto 0 0
sysfs /sys sysfs noauto 0 0
/dev/cdrecorder /media/cdrecorder subfs fs=cdfss,ro,procuid,nosuid,nodev,exec,iocharset=ut f8 0 0
/dev/dvd /media/dvd subfs fs=cdfss,ro,procuid,nosuid,nodev,exec,iocharset=ut f8 0 0
/dev/sda1 /mnt/usbstick vfat user,noauto,umask=0 0 0
Then after I put the drive in I say mount flashdrive and nothing happens the prompt in the console does not come back up and I have to close the window. I have checked to see if usb-storage is running and it is.
