What is the comand for Linux Mandrake that is equivilant to Format. What do i type to format my hardrive? :mad:

Yes, what slacker_x said is right. But be warned that formatting will delete everything on that drive, is that what you are wanting to do? You said "hard drive needs a cleaning", if you mean a TOTAL cleaning then yes. Just be sure you know what you are doing.
