Tyr-7BE 03-22-2001, 11:32 PM Red Hat books will see you through just fine. Red Hat is virtually IDENTICAL to Mandrake. I use Debian now, and I still use my Red Hat book from time to time :) There should be very close to zero differences between the red hat and Mandrake fs. Trigger-X 03-23-2001, 07:14 PM Ok, Thanks. I will check it out! Ares 03-23-2001, 07:38 PM There is a SAMS teach yourself Mandrake in 24 hours book out there. I agree though, Red Hat and Mandrake are very similar, and there are alot of great Red Hat books. Red Hat for Dummies, Red Hat Linux Unleashed, and Learning Red Hat Linux are all good. Trigger-X 03-23-2001, 09:08 PM Cool! I didnt know they made an Sam's Made an Linux-Mandrake book. Would it be better to buy The Sam's Teach yourself Linux in 24 hours or Sam's Teach yoursled Linux-Mandrake in 24 Hours? chaoscapstone 03-24-2001, 03:10 PM They are very similar. I have the teach yourself Linux and it really good. justlinux.com
