I can copy (ctrl-c) text successfully in KEdit, but cannot past this text in Netscape 6 (ctrl-v).
What do I have to change on Netscape 6 so this is possible?

As far as I know, this was a windows invention, and the desktop environments have tried to re-create it. Often you can paste copied text by the paste function under the edit menu, but ctrl-v rarely works. Under GNOME, at least. Q-Gdoxl 03-04-2001, 08:47 AM Yeah I kinda noticed that too depends on the app your running. I have noticed that ALT-V ALT-C sometimes work instead of the CTRL-V/C Try that out Q dante_d 03-04-2001, 10:30 AM Also try: Highlighting text to copy then middle mouse button (or left/right mouse button simultaneously for a 2 button mouse) to paste. I believe this is a "standard" way to copy/paste in X. linuxluis 03-04-2001, 05:27 PM If you like to copy a text from a terminal you have to use the mouse. high light and then copy it to other terminal and just click with your mouse. here's a second way also too copy and paste. alt + c copy it . alt + v paste it. try that out and let me know if it helps you out.
