I'm having problems with both the lastest versions of redhat and mandrake. I have tried both and got the same error. I have booted from the cdrom and from floopies, and the the setup seems to go fine and then I get this error
"I COULD NOT FIND RED HAT LINUX CDROM DRIVES. PLEASE INSERT THE RED HAT CD AND PRESS OK TO RETRY"
The samething happens with mandrake. Should there be generic drivers for the instalation?
I have a goldstar 16x cd rom and a creative labs 8432 cdrw
