I have 3 Dell Optiplex GX270s and the best resolution that I can get is 800x600. Which is abs useless.
I read a lot about this problem and tried installing drivers, XFree config, etc. The most recent solution was to upgrade the BIOS from A03 to A04 ... and that was supposed to fix the problem ... or so says linux.dell.com and support.dell.com. Well guess what ... it doesn't !!!
No matter what I do, my system still thinks that the card has only 8Mb not 64Mb and I am stuck in the same place.
Would a newer kernal fix this .... and other suggestions ??
Thanks
