What are the advantages/disadvantages of changing a fat32 parttion to ext3?
I have a 170G drive that I converted from NTFS to fat32. I was thinking now my file server is Linux (Debian 3, kernel 2.4 with Samba) that maybe I should change the drive over to ext3. Is this a good idea or should I leave it as is? What about security, permission & speed issues?
Any thoughts??
Thanks
Wayne
