I would like to thank everyone that has given me pointers on this, it has been much appreciated.
I would also like to point out to anyone who is new to Linux and wishes to setup Samba the things that REALLY helped me out on this. (If your use to linux this would seem real obvious to you, but if like me your from a Windows background this will be very handy)
1, Using the basic text commands on the Konsole (dos prompt for windows users) is the easiest way to do this, DONOT be afraid. (Flashbacks of dos are fine.) The reason I say this is I had many a problem with the gui format not performing the task correctly or just hanging. When I performed the tasks at the Konsole it worked perfectly. The only thing with using the Konsole is you must have it typed correctly,. (Including upper and lower case.)
2, Take your time, read as much as possible about Samba, BUT dont try and do the ultimate configuration till you have grasped the basics.
3, This first link provides you with the basics of configuring Samba, I found it excellent to follow.

The next link provides you with information on how to configure Samba so that the drives are mounted on bootup.

Using both the above links I found it possible to configure my Samba setup, shares, so that on bootup they were loaded each time.
Once again thanks.to everyone that pointed me in the right direction. :D
