I was just reading around on the mandrake page, and stumbled into their installation documentation. cOol!

In this document, it tells how to set up your internet connection upon installation. I have a cable modem, so I clicked that part of the documentation (LINK HERE (http://63.209.80.231/en/doc/72/en/user.html/draknet-cable.html)). In here it says to set up a cable modem, simply put in your host name and that's it! Well that's cool and all, but my cable connection does not use DHCP. I have to specify an IP address, name server, gateway, the whole #! (shebang).

Am I going to have trouble getting this working?
