Nautilus turnes E to Gnome

I have enlightenment installed and decided to try nautilus as a file manager... so after emerge nautilus , when I run it my dektop background dissapears and gnome home and trash icons appear. Why is it doing this? What else is there that I could use instead as a file manager?

- as soon as I close nautilus it returns to normal.
