Hi all I don't know if this is the right place to start such a thread..
But I was thinking how come it is that all Linux Apps. LAG so far behind their Win counterparts? Because when I write different software venders, They all say that there is no Linux port of their software because there is no demand for it Prime example is the Official Yahoo client for Linux They only just recently enabled the ability to send files to windows clients from the LInux Client.. As of yet there is no WEBCAM or VOICE in the *nix client I am thinking that if all these *nix forums get together and decide upon "Bombarding" a software vender to either A. Produce a Linux Client. Or if they have one that it needs to be upto par with the Win Client.. They would eventually give in to the daily E-mail Barage comming in untill a version was made that works in *nix Natively... Not using Wine.. or any other Baloney program.. Programs I would personally like to see:
a REALPLAYER that works.. and Is an easy install without having to JUMP through hoops..
A Yahoo Client that is up to par with the Win Client.
Any comments or thoughts from the rest of the crowd here?
