I was wondering if there are any text based irc clients that either come with redhat or
be installed on redhat easily. I like the x-windows irc client that comes with redhat, but I would like to be able to run irc from another pc that is telnet'd into the redhat box.
Also, is there an easy to understand how-to on setting up a win98 x-station for redhat? Im not even positive that is what it is called. Id like to be able to run an app on win98 that would let me see my linux desktop on the redhat box.

Thanks in Advance

*****X is a great text-based irc client.

For using X in Win*, you can either export your X session to a win32 x-server, or you can use vnc.

vnc is really cool, though you need to do some configurations to make it work with your WM. It is gonna be your best bet, besides *****X.
