The best way to get Slackware 10
1. Use Azureus (http://azureus.sourceforge.net/)
as your bittorent client. Install it and run update first.
2. Make Azureus the default bittorent handler in your browser.
3. Get your torrents here (http://www.slackware.com/torrents/index.html)
4. Start them before you go to sleep or work/school. Start all four of them if you want them. They'll be done when you get home (if you have broadband, not sure about dial-up though)
5. Leave Azureus running in your system tray, this helps everyone get them faster.
6. No go? Send me an PM and I'll send you a copy.

Don't forget: if you're behind a router, then you need to open and forward ports 6881-6889, otherwise your d/l speed will suffer.

I only forwarded 6880-6882 and got some really good download speeds, for torrents anyway. Ended up around 350 to 400 kBps and the upload speeds were around 15 kBps.

Trust me, if you have dialup, it will take about 3 days per iso.......

I agree :) FTPs get hammered but torrent speeds get better the more people use it. For all the bad rap torrent has it's excellent for grabbing things like linux distros :)

That could be the main error. Please search the JL forums as the solution to the above has been posted many, many times.
