Dear LNO people,
I am using a red hat 6.2 system. I haven't upgraded my rpm version 3 to rpm version4. I am planning to use the new 2.4 series of kernels. There are of course requirements for the 2.4 line of kernels such as upgrading util-linux, modutils, etc. I am wondering if i should download the needed rpms from redhat 7.1 then upgrade my 6.2 system? So that the requirements in the changes file would be fulfilled. or do you have any suggestion? I fear that there may be problems with the rpm version.
Btw, what happened to rawhide?
