hello i'm trying to put win 95 on my PC. with my corel Linux. so how do you format the drive in linux? i need to install a new copy. but i want to put win 95 on first. please help :confused:

You'll have to install Win95 first, but prior to that just do a standard "format c:" at your dos prompt after you boot from a floppy. Install win95 as usual. Haven't used Corel, but most distros come with a partition "splitter" such as FIPS (http://www.igd.fhg.de/~aschaefe/fips/) or you can buy Partition Magic. During the Corel install it should do the format of the partitions you specify. HTH. Its just a limiation built into them by microsoft...agh! justlinux.com
