RH 7.1 Installation aborts

Hi,
Can somebody help me?

I've decided to install RH 7.1 and in order to do a trouble free
install, I've removed completely my previous installation of RH
7.0., so after I got the RH 7l.1 4 CD set, I started the process
with a clean hard disk.

The problem is that, no matter if I boot from floppy, CD or DOS,
always the installation aborts somewhere with this message:

running anaconda - please wait...
install exited abnormally -- received signal 11
sending termination signals... done
sending kill signals... done
disabling swap...
unmounting filesystems...
/mnt/runtime
/mnt/source umount failed ()
/dev/pts
/proc


What is going wrong?

it may not like some componet of your pc try running this option at that boot prompt that comes up

boot prompt: "linux text"

no quotes, This should envork a non-X install.

I've just found plenty of information about this "signal 11" at the
following link: http://www.bitwizard.nl/sig11/

Now I've successfully installed RH 7.1.
