I've installed Slackware 8.0, but don't know
how to configure DHCP. I've got ADSL connection. I use netwok card connected to router and then to the ADSL line. There is also another computer connected in the same way using the same router.
I've tried using linuxconf, but it didn't start.

What do i do?

Thanks

That's because Slack 8 doesn't come with linuxconf. Try the /sbin/netconfig command. That's what the Slack installer uses for network configuration.

If you have a linksys router like me then I suggest using a static internal ip. Its alot easyer to set up and (I think) alot better.
