i am using topologi distro and it uses images on windoz partitions for the fs

i am using an ntfs hdd and i need to get my bzImage and System.map to the windoz partition without using a cd, floppy, or the internet
cd because i only have 1 left and want to use it for something else
floppy because my floppy drive is busted
internet because i cant load the ppp module and cant find my modem

Where are your bzImage and system map now?

I think that you'll have to be in windows to do that. There is simply no way to put anything new on an ntfs partition using anything but windows.

got everything over, now my only problem is errors
i always get a message :
BIOS provided RAM map
(lots of memory ranges about 10)
User provided RAM maps
(four ranges)
please help me, this is like the 6th time i have built the kernel

mobo: pcchips m787CL
chipset: sis630
BIOS: AMI
RAM: 256MB SDRAM
cpu: early p4 or late p3, its labeled celeron, reason for the p4/p3 is it has 256kb cache

We need more of an error message than than. Get all of it, if you can.

that probably is very hard!

although you can possibly write to ntfs, you will encounter problems with binary files as those files will be tweaked. That is why many people find that the binary bootsector they copied from linux to winxp will become corrupted.

ntfs has its own file writing ways -- and so bloated and proprietary it M$ should shoot themselves in the foot!

(four ranges) Those are NOT errors. That's normal output from the kernel as it's booting... it logs all kinds of stuff like that to help in the event of a problem.
