This is just a little thing that bothers me, and Outlook does it, so I was hoping Evolution did it as well...I just can't seem to figure out how to make it happen.

In Outlook (2002/2003 version anyway) when I reply/forward/whatever an e-mail, my signature is pasted directly below my message. For example:

John,

Linux rocks.

However, Evolution always seems to want to put it at the end of the message -- which sort of defeats the purpose of a signature.

John,

Linux rocks.

This is quite annoying...and, indeed, driving me a bit crazy. Any help out there, please? Thank you.

mozilla.org's thunderbird does the same thing. it is quite annoying, and no i don't know how to fix it.

sounds like it is time to write a thunderbird extension "signature_fix"

I just wanted to see if anybody could come up with a solution, so I'm popping this back up to the top of the board.

Anybody? Thanks

If not...where can I submit a request for a fix to this issue?

afaik, there is no way to change that behaviour (yet).

you could try looking in the gconf (gnome reg editor) to see if they have anything hidden away in there.

I used a mail client once that allowed you to make your own templates...signature included.....it was a simple .html file. Look for that or possibly an .xml file and edit.
