Firewall Fun for all the family

Hello,

I've just recently set up Smoothwall on my old 486, most thing seemed to be running very well, until I tried to fetch my mail.

Is there any way to configure the firewall to pick up my e-mail ?

I have some knowledge of networking but I just need a little help on this side of things.

If anyone can help out or point me to a decent site I'd be a very happy little bunny......

I am not familiar with smoothwall, but I'm assuming that when the setup occured, you did not allow the ports for mail (probably pop3). I would look for a configuration and see what is blocked.
