Hi guys. I've been using the new Mandrake10 Official, and have managed to get everything working really smooth! One thing I'm not too sure about though is printing; I have a CANON BJi850, and the best I can get it to print is using the s800 driver. I find that it prints pretty good but am trying to print simple black-on-white docs a little darker, as I find it isn't printing the letters quite as dark as I'd like. Any ideas?

What program are you printing from? Have you tried editing the printer settings?
P.S. Haha...this may sound stupid, and I'm not trying to insult you or anything, but make sure you have full ink cartridges. I spent a good few hours trying to figure out why my printer wasn't printing in Linux -- turns out I just ran out of ink at that exact time. Grrrrrrr....:p

Nah, I just bought ink today; its full! I've been trying to print from openoffice.writer(my resume) as well as test pages from the Printdrake configuration too. The printing is actually not bad, I would just like to know if there is a way of making the text print darker. I want it black, not just dark grey. There must be a way of making it print darker. But I'm not sure what settings to adjust. Not to sound cheap, but I don't have that much paper that I can just keep printing test pages. Here is a screenshot of the Mandrake Printer Configuretion tool.
Thanks!!
