Quick question from a Linux newbie (Win2k user):
Background:
I have a Toshiba laptop (2140XCDS), and recently installed Red Hat 7.2, which went just fine with seemingly no problems. Now, when going through boot process, it hangs when it gets to "Starting PCMCIA". Does nothing, nada; refuses to give me even a command prompt.
What to do? I've searched forums here and elsewhere, but PCMCIA problems I've read about seem to occur once the system is up and running, and I can't even get that far.
Thanks in advance.
