How do I get my Domain Name Servers from windows so that I can ditch it and start using linux to its full capacity? cyan 03-22-2001, 01:39 AM Just ask you're ISP. (its not illegal or anything for you to ask, so don't worry) I don't think you'll find them anywhere in Windows, but I could be wrong. knowledgepeacewi 03-22-2001, 01:43 AM My ISP won't respond to emails. And I had done it once through windows but can't remember and don't have the documentation to do it again. cyan 03-22-2001, 02:10 AM Who are you using? cyan 03-22-2001, 02:25 AM I think if you just do a whois on your ISP, the numbers should be the same. Could be wrong, but it's worth a shot. mypython8 03-22-2001, 02:32 AM Just go to: control panel>dial up networking>right click on your connection>go to properties>then click the server types tab>then tcp/ip setting. Could be there, or not. If not I would just call your ISP and ask. :D bdg1983 03-22-2001, 07:48 AM Start/Run/winipcfg Click on 'More Info' knowledgepeacewi 03-24-2001, 02:35 AM Thak all of you.
