colour my world and please pass the chown!

ok..
where do I set the system colour on linux 7.0
because me simbolic links are pissing me off with all the damn high-lighted blinking! :eek:

and how does this work, I have made a user and I made a mistake.
the users name is nick and the group is nick
I would like him to be in group users so do I have this right?
chown nick users
I have done this before and I know this works but I can't remember what order?

There is no such thing as Linux 7.0

Also, the thing with the users/groups can't be done with a command, you'll need to edit /etc/passwd by hand. Search on Google for instructions--this is a very common task.

The addgroup utility will add an existing user to an existing group.

Also, if you symlink is highlighted and blinking, it is probably broken. Make sure that what the link is pointing to is actually there.
