Kmail accounts

Hi Everyone,

I'm using Kmail in Mandrake 8.1. I can setup more than one pop email account. My question is can I have more than one smtp server? If my mediaone account has a different smtp server than one of my other accounts is there any way to get it to use that server? I know it really doesn't make much of a difference as long as I have a working smtp server.

You normally only need to use one SMTP server, though if it is set up to only accept from a certain domain you will need to configure one for each email address (or use sendmail)

You can set up multiple configurations in Kmail, then when you write a mail you can choose which set-up to use to send it.

It's all in the 'settings' opion

Hi Silent Bob,

Thanks for the response. I just figured it out. You have to add a new identity and add a new user to the network section to get it to work. It's not a one step process.
