With Redhat I had snes9x running awesome, but on slack I get this error-where do I get this XFree86-DGA?

Thanks,
kuber

can you get into X?
and what version of X are you running?
slack 7.1 comes with xfree86 3.3.0 already installed, but i'd recommend installing 4.0

I can get into X fine. I can even run snes9x, but it runs terribly slow. I run it from terminal and get the message in the terminal that XFree86-DGA is missing.
I will upgrade XFree86 to 4.02 (not at my box) and see if that works.
Thanks,

Kuber

load the dga module

I can't remember the exact name of the module, but search XF86Config for dga. Remove 'omit' from the load parameters, save and then startup X.
