raedon 9800 128mb in suse 9.0

I need to get my graphics card working. i have a 128mb ati raedon 9800. It appears that suse recongnizes it, but it says i do not have 3d support.

I'm a total newb, so any help from you all would be appreciated.

I doubt SuSE includes the actual ATI drivers that should have 3d acceleration.

You can find them at http://mirror.ati.com/support/driver.html and also search the JL forums for 'ati', 'radeon' or '9800' to find other helpful threads.

If you'd like to get the drivers straight from ATI you can just download them from their website. SUSE also provides a package for the ATI drivers. You might want to check their website for that.
