Hey

I am using Slackware Current and there is this "issue" where I can select and start XFCE with no problems from the GDM login screen but can even find it in the KDM window manager list. (I switched to KDM because for some odd reason, logouts took ages in GDM) .

Anyway, I have searched this forum for information on allowing XFCE to be selected and run from the KDM window manager list but have been getting tips mostly for RH, Mandrake and SUSE. This would normally not be a problem since procedures could be adapted from one distro to the next. However, the files needed for editing and even directories, either don't seem to exist in Slack or when they do, their contents are different.

I would be very grateful therefor for some Slack specific info on how to include XFCE (or any other wm for that matter) in KDM list.

cheers
