Ok,

I am running SUSE 8.2 Personal on a HP Pavilion N540.
What I would like to accomplish to change the interface look, Im use to the MAC look and like the feel, I found a GUI that was similar at http://www.mepis.org/node/view/2355 is it possible to change the GUI ?

I have been having small problems here and there, Mandrake 9.2 DVD player issue/ Sound not working

MEPIS worked great, for some reason the root password I installed didnt take 2 installs in a row.

so I am back to suse becuse Im not past linux n00b status yet.........

Sure it is. Just install whatever you want and then add to your ~/.xinitrc or search the Window/Desktop Manager forum for similar threads on changing the WM/DM or use the KDE Control Center under System Administration - Login Manager - Sessions tab and add a new type under 'Session Types'.
