rp-pppoe and two simultaneous dsl connections

From the online manual at roaringpenguin.com:

"You can define multiple PPPoE connections, but you should not use more than one simultaneuously unless you feel comfortable editing scripts and setting up routing tables. By default, TkPPPoE tries to add a default route for connections. This does not work well with multiple simultaneous connections."

Okay, I'll considered myself forewarned.
But I'm guessing that there's a few crafty players on this forum who've made a linux routerbox hum with 2 simultaneous dsl connections.

Might someone be able to share how they got the rp-pppoe software to properly maintain two dsl connections. I understand that load-balancing the two connections over a LAN is a whole other art/science. For now, I'd like simply to know how folks got rp-pppoe to maintain two dsl connections. Once I can get that done, then I'll try to figure out load-balancing the connections to/from the LAN.

All nudges/shoves/guidance toward this goal greatly appreciated.

I decided to call up RoaringPenguin Tech. Support to follow up on this. The tech. support fellow was patient and considerate. He asserted that rp-pppoe can definitely handle multiple connections. He said it's only a matter of creating two start-up configuration files that will respond to command: adsl-start.

I'm thinking that may not be all that's required though. I'll have to use iproute2 to manage both of these connections amongst all the LAN clients.

Oh how I wish I could get my employers to purchase a T1 line. That would solve quite a bit of maneuvering for me.
