This question specifically pertains to Eclipse (see pic below) but it seems to be happening to other windows as well.

I have been using Eclipse on Linux for awhile. However, I only recently started using it on my Gentoo box. Ever since I started using it, I've been getting a display problem. On the far left hand side, there should be another tool bar that allows me to change my perspective Like this --

However, mine is looking like this:

Notice how the left side of my picture does not have any buttons on the left. They are there though -- if I click very carefully, I can access my different perspectives.

Does anybody know why this problem occurs. I am using the GTK version of Eclipse, but it seems to happen with the Motif version as well. I've tried to reinstall, with no luck.

Any help would be *much* appreciated since this is a very important tool for me to have. Thank you.

What is the wm/de you are using? Any other display problems? Any errors in your log file? What is your video card and are you using the latest drivers?

I'm using Fluxbox on the XDM server. I haven't had any other major problems like this with other window managers. And, in fact, the first install of Gentoo I did, Eclipse worked fine.

I'm using the 2.6.6 kernel with the nv driver on a 4200 graphics card. I don't exactly know where my log files are, but, I don't think there would be errors.

Sorry I didn't include that info before. Thanks.
