I need some help. I have installed Mepis Linux on my A31P but I can't get it to display anything other than 1024x768. If anyone could help me this would be good

Mepis possibly has some configuration tool in its control center, but I couldn't tell you where. Have you tried Ctrl+Alt (+ -)? This will cycle you through the resolutions you have available. For a permanent solution you can add your preferred resolution to your /etc/X11/XFConfig(-4) file. The section of the file that you want to edit can be found in the section entitled "Screen Section">"Subsection "Display">Modes.
