[ 28 April 2001: Message edited by: Bradmont ] DMR 04-28-2001, 10:25 PM *shameless bump for someone else* AFAIK, no. TaeShadow 04-28-2001, 10:26 PM Well, Mandrake is able to do it without leaving X, so there's got to be a way. DMR 04-28-2001, 10:44 PM TaeShadow, How is it done? I'm running RH 6.2,and couldn't find a way to make it happen- ideas? Bradmont2 04-29-2001, 06:06 AM ^Bump^ Anybody have any ideas? foo_bar 04-29-2001, 03:12 PM I do not believe it is possible to change the color depth without exiting. (At least in XFree 3.x) Maybe 4.x has that feature... TaeShadow: What tool is used in Mandrake to do that? Maybe we can figure it out from that. justlinux.com
