Hello,

well , I'm building an ftp server, and don't want to put linux system files on a main 80GB hdd, so I thought of putting them on old 500MB HDD ... so , what distribution would I need to use, for best results ... I guess I'm gonna put there blackbox, b/c I'm not going to use X very often ...

also , I would like to format my 80GB hdd as ext2 ... what mount point should I give it ? (I'm really confused about this) ... let's say I want it to be /ftp ... should I give it a mount point "/ftp" ?

thx :)

If everything on the big drive is going to be the ftp, /ftp is probably a good idea. Of course, it doesn't really matter. Call it whatever you want.
