Thought it would be handy if you had a already installed rpm package that you have spent a great deal of time configuring and wouldn't want to repeat the process if you were required to reinstall the package or your distro.
rpmrebuild is a tool to build an RPM file from a package that has already been installed. It can be used to easily build modified packages, and works on any Linux distribution that uses RPM.
