Ok, I was trying to get a game off of cnet, and when I went to dld it, I got a screen full of code. I'm assuming that I am going to need to compile this code right? OK, so how do I do that. I'm running SuSE 7.1 so I'm sure that I have a compiler, I just don'tknow what any are called. Any one feel like giving me a clue???
THanks!!

What you got was the browser trying to open the file that you were going to download. This is the equivalent of opening a .zip or a .exe file with a browser under windows. Try right-clicking on the link and trying to find a "save target as" or something that will save the target as a file.

Hmm... or the link might be to a ftp server. If so, then you will need a ftp client to download it at the url that the link points to.
Hope this helps... :p
