In Mandrake 7.2 Im running Gnome. Im using VIM to program webpages and it has the color shading but the only problem is the the xwin version has a white background. Is there anyway to change this?

If you don't see the file in your home directory, you need to copy the example rc file from /usr/share/vim and tweak that. See also the online help for vim. justlinux.com
