Does linus have a distro ?

is linus torvalds only into kernel development ? or did he head a team to make an entire distro ?

My guess is he'ld use some kind of barebones power distro. Like Slack. But what distro did he first work on? Maybe he's using a 'personal' edition, if you get what I mean... :rolleyes:

I bet he has about a dozen of i386 machines where he installs any version he founds except the stupid ones (like WinLinux and PeanutLinux etc).

His main computer probably has linux ´from scratch´. What else!?

Hey, even WinLinux has a purpose...it shows the windows users what linux is about in an easy fassion. If they want more, they can install a real distro ;)

Yeah, but Linus will mostly want to see the Linux development, not just how microsoft users migrate to Linux.

E.g., he may want to see how KDE goes since it is an important aspect of the linux future, WinLinux is just a loopback device on a winDOS file (old technology, he has seen that in the early 90s).

IIRC, Linus used to use Red Hat. Very possible still does. Also, I think Alan Cox uses KRUD, which is RH+errata+goodies.
