Strange behaviour on my LAN

Hallo!

I'm facing something very strange. I have a linux (SuSE 9.0) server that I'm using as PDC (with Samba) for 2 windows 98 and one win 2K clients. The server is configured to route. I'm getting access to Internet with the server without restriction. The clients have also access to Internet. Curiously the clients cannot go to some sites that the server contacts easily. Does any one have an idea what is going on?

Do you have security set up in the browser you are using on the windows boxes that would/could block these websites? What sort of error are you seeing? Can you copy and paste it here?

I have removed all security setting on the windows machine. I'm accepting all cookies for example, but I'm getting the following error message in a popup window trying to go on a site like www.diatode.org
Error Message: ?This page can't be opened? or ?the server can?t be found?

I get the same message for http://www.diatode.org/ while using Firebird (Linux).

Are you sure the domain is correct?

Sorry, not diatode.org but diastode.org
