Running Samba 2.06 on Red Hat Release 5.2

Can you please give me some direction on getting Samba 2.06 to run on Red Hat Release 5.2(Apollo). I want to use SWAT and it is not included with Red Hat 5.2 which has Samba version 1.9xx. I have tried running the RPM for 2.06 however it appears to missing some libraries.

I don't know much about this. I'll give it a shot though.

Have you tried getting the missing library files? Anyway, SWAT erases your original smb.conf with all the comments and stuff. It would be a good idea to save a copy of your configuration file before you use SWAT.
